Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Savannah with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Georgia may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10:30 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Jackie's Seafood Market at (912) 963-1113; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 1,392 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Savannah is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They got what you want for To-Go seafood! Quick Service and hard working nice people! We had fried shrimp and the low country boil and both were good. The food is so hot you need to get the boiled shrimp home quick to keep the peel from sticking but otherwise real good stuff.

Great place to buy seafood. We purchased two different kinds, pompano and trout. They were very fresh and good quality. Also they were quite prompt in their service. Definitely will go back again. Strongly recommend!!

Crabs nasty & the shrimp overcooked! Season does have a taste @ donβt get me started on this garlic butter

This food was very overrated. The conch was chewy and undercooked, the fish fillet had bones in it and was overcooked, and the shrimp had no seasoning at all. I wonβt speak for everyoneβs preferences, but most people expect their seafood to have some flavor. Overall, very disappointing.

Whenever I think of seafood, this is the kind of place I think of. A place where you could actually pick out your shrimp and pick out the pieces of fish you want is absolutely amazing. I had a pound of shrimp fried and two pieces of white and they were both seasoned to perfection. Iβm not able to get fresh catch lot but when I come to Savannah , this is one of my top spots, the only thing I would say is that if a person orders a lot of seafood, just one cocktail sauce or one tartar sauce is not enough, and we should not have to pay extra SS if we order a lot of food, thatβs all other than that the food was bomb!
